Evaporative air conditioning units require regular servicing to ensure they are operating effectively, while providing clean air into your home or workspace. Being a wet, damp environment, mold can easily build up within the unit, causing health issues to those who inhale the cooled air it provides.
Units with dirty pads, seized motors or faulty components also won’t work as effectively in their primary function of keeping your property cool.
What's Included in an evaporative cooling service?
- Technician call out fee included
- Check and test all operating components of unit
- Provide recommendations on necessary repairs/carry out possible repairs
- Remove and clean filter pads
- Clean unit sump and disinfect
- Lubricate motor and pump components
- Long life bromide installed to prevent mold buildup
- Provide verbal condition report (can be put into writing upon request)
Note: A 50% call out fee will be charged if we are unable to access the unit due to customer missing the appointment (unless rescheduled as per our discretion).
What if repairs are required?
If your unit is not functioning as it should, repairs may be required. We are able to conduct repairs on the following:
- Filter Pads
- Solenoids
- Water Pumps
- Drain Valves
- Float Valves
- Controllers
*We are unable to conduct repair work to motors, control boxes or capacitors.
*We are also unable to conduct repair work on any plumbing line, dropper/flashing or internal ducting in the roof space.
